1999年、 川端芽久美(Vo、Ag)、加藤崇(B)、近藤正樹(G)、竹本成明(Dr)の4人でLife結成。

インディーズでの活動を経て、2002年ビクターよりシングル「blue」にてメジャーデビュー。時にオーガニックに、時にエキセントリックに緩急を使い分けたヴォーカルが好評を得る。以降、2006年11月の活動休止までに、シングル2枚、アルバム1枚、ミニアルバム1枚をリリース。

Life活動休止中の現在はソロとして活動を続け作品を発表。また、オムニバス作品などにも参加。

独特の視点で書かれる歌詞にも定評があり、今後の活躍が期待される。

In 1999, formed Life with Takashi Kato (B), Masaki Kondo (G), Nariaki Takemoto (Dr).
After its indie era, in 2002, major debuted by the single “blue” from Victor. Won a reputation for her vocal style, sometimes goes naturally, sometimes goes eccentrically. Released two singles and one album and mini-album, until stopped the group activities in November 2006.

After the sleep of Life, started her solo career. Released several works and participated in some omnibus albums.

Has a reputation for the songwriting, made out of her unique point of view.
